What My Clients Say

Chris Mole

“I have worked with Arnold on several projects since 2012. The fact that I have kept working with him for so long, shows how highly I rate his work. Arnold is an outstanding website designer, who understands how to design to maximize the conversion rate. So his designs not only look great but they work to grow the client’s business. As well as being able to design a great website, Arnold is also highly skilled in building sites with WordPress. I have also worked with him on other platforms, such as Big Commerce. Arnold is conscientious and you know when you work with him, he will go the extra mile to exceed your expectations.”

Miles Feinberg

“I originally encountered Arnold when I ran a public contest for the (re)design of our public website. Arnold competed and won, as we thought he presented the best design and was able to tailor to our needs, seemingly intuitively. After that, we engaged him directly to do more work for both us and as part of project teams for our clients. His graphical mockups for web design won us projects because the creativity and delight factor got customers to reach for their checkbooks. We worked together for years, and then when my firm was acquired he continued to work for the new parent company. Eventually the parent company grew its internal team so that it did not need to outsource. Look, I can personally vouch for Arnold. He is an incredibly creative and talented graphic artist!”

Lynda Gorman – Simply Essential

“I hired Arnold on several occassions when rebranding both my products and my website. I’ve always loved his design work. Arnold is a pleasure to work with – ever obliging, ensuring the client is happy, and making changes as required. He’s creative, and highly professional. Highly recommended!”

Kris Trudeau

“I’ve worked with Arnold on several projects and he does really great work. Much better than the average designer. He’s super open to feedback and is a really easy-going guy. He’s my go-to guy. Thanks for the great work Arnold!”

Patrick O’Donnell

“Arnold is absolutely wonderful to work with. He’s done a great job with design and development on our brochures, packaging, website and membership site, and we look forward to continuing to work together! “

Frequently Asked Questions

These are a few of the questions I’m asked most often. If you don’t see what you need, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help.

Why choose a freelance web designer?

Working with a freelance web designer is often more affordable than hiring an agency, thanks to lower operating costs. Plus, you benefit from direct communication, faster response times, and a more personalized experience throughout your project.

What’s the difference between a freelance web designer and a web agency?

The main difference lies in structure and scale. Freelancers typically work independently and often specialize in specific areas of web design, while agencies usually have a team that covers a broader range of services in-house.

Freelance designers can offer the same level of skill and experience as an agency but at a more affordable rate. While both can deliver professional results, freelancers often provide a more personalized and flexible approach to projects.

What do freelance web designers typically charge?

Pricing depends on the scope and complexity of the project. A detailed quote will be provided upfront and must be approved before any work begins.

How does your payment schedule work?

I typically split the payment into two stages. A 50% deposit is required at the start to begin the project. The remaining 50% is due once all revisions are complete on the development site and the project is ready to be launched.

How long does it take to complete a website?

Timelines can vary depending on the complexity of the project. Some websites may be completed in a day or two, while others may take up to four weeks or more. Larger or more custom builds could take longer, but a clear timeframe is always discussed and agreed upon at the start.

What do I need to get started?

To kick off your project smoothly, it helps to have a few key items prepared—but don’t worry if you’re missing anything, we can work around it and keep things moving.

Branding – If you have brand guidelines, please share them before we begin. If not, a high-quality version of your logo (ideally in SVG format) will do just fine.

Images – If you already have a photo library, I’ll ask for access. If not, we can explore options together and source visuals from stock image platforms like Unsplash or Shutterstock.

Website Content – If your content is already organized with a sitemap and written copy for each page, that’s ideal. If not, we can start with a basic content outline. I can use placeholder text until your final content is ready.

Which Content Management System do you work with?

I frequently use WordPress to build websites, as it’s a flexible, open-source platform that doesn’t require costly licenses and is easy for clients to manage on their own. I can also work with Kajabi and GoHighLevel on funnels and automation.

Why the name ‘Dynamic Design Box’?

I chose to create a brand name instead of using my own to stand out from the crowd—especially since many freelancers simply go by their personal names. As for “Dynamic Design Box,” it was the one name that really resonated with me after countless domain searches. I can’t say exactly why, but it just felt like the right fit and has stuck with me ever since.
